About Frisco church of Christ

The Frisco church of Christ has been meeting in Frisco since a little after the turn of the century, around 1909, and had their first building at Third and Elm Streets in Frisco. In 1964, we moved to our current location at 8648 Main Street in Frisco, Texas, across from the Central Fire Station. Our members, which hail from McKinney, Prosper, The Colony, Little Elm, Frisco, Plano, and other neighborhoods, are often actively involved in local community events and in good works. If you are involved in the community, you likely will know someone who is a member of the church.

We are an active supporter of the work done at Foster's Home for Children in Stephenville, as well as mission efforts in Arizona, Camaroon and the Truth in Love program (Sunday mornings at 7:30 AM,  KDFI – 27 in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas).

What we believe:

We believe that friendliness is a natural attitude among people who truly love God. We truly hope you will accept our invitation to visit us soon. It will be our pleasure to have you with us. We sincerely believe that we all benefit by coming and joining together in our worship to the God of all creation.

Elders: Todd Crayton, Kevin Lowry

The qualifications for elders in the Lord's church are laid out in the Bible in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. You are encouraged to review those qualifications. Elders are, as the term implies, older men. They are men who have reached an age where they have acquired widsom, judgment, and experience. They are, however, ordinary men who, like all mortal men, are not infallible and should always encourage their congregation to search the Bible for the truth. Contact the elders if you have questions or need encouragement.

Deacons: Cris Brown, Clayton Fowler, Brian Hasz

Deacons are the church's "special servants". They take care of the day-to-day activities of the church and assist the congregation in carrying out the work that needs to be done. Please feel free to contact any of these men if you see a need or have any questions about the church. They're here to help.

Preacher: Todd Crayton

Todd is a native of St. Louis, Missouri and has over seventeen years preaching experience. He is a 2004 graduate of the Memphis School of Preaching and holds a B.S. degree in Nutrition from East Carolina University. He comes to us after serving five years as the evangelist for the Ridgedale Church of Christ in Chattanooga, TN. Since the inception of THE GOSPEL BROADCASTING NETWORK in 2005, Todd has been a regular panelist on GBN’s Questions and Answers program and a frequent panelist on Fabric of the Family. He has preached, conducted retreats and spoken at lectureships in ten different states. He and his wife Rose (Felton) have been married for over 20 years; they have two sons: Micah and Noah.

A sample sermon from Todd is available in the Sermons and Studies section of this site.
